Project Manager - Elevators

An Opportunity exists to join a dynamic team managing projects installing Vertical Transport around the Sydney Metro

The Project Manager role is centered around managing projects and staff/ contractors  to deliver projects on time and on budget. There will be a heavy focus on delivery, where you will lead your team on major projects through the full life-cycle from inception to successful handover. You will be dealing with corporate clients in the delivery of projects right across Sydney

As the Project Manager, you will take ultimate responsibility for scheduling, cost control, quality outcomes and the relationships developed with all project stakeholders.

What will you be doing?

  • Manage communication with customers and key stakeholders throughout the installation process
  • Progress and budget reporting
  • Manage risk reviews and status updates
  • Ensure that the work is carried out in line with clear defined procedures and guidelines
  • Achievement of safety targets by developing and maintaining a safety focused culture
  • Ensuring compliance to policy requirements
  • Reviewing and administering contracts
  • Work closely with the sales/business development team in pre-tender and tender activities to ensure appropriate outcomes

What do you need to have ?

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications - Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or Construction Management, highly desirable
  • Work experience gained within a commercial environment, ideally in the elevator/escalator or construction industry
  • Experience managing projects over $10m in value,
  • Knowledge of construction industry contracts
  • Resilient and persevering approach
